#Day 5

On the 5th day of our program we get in touch with Non-Violent and Empathic Communication. In this day was possible com get in touch with the way we look and observe our situations, interactions, and relationships, the feelings associated with these interactions, the needs that come from the situations an what kind of requests are we need to consider. After understanding these concepts and the meaning of them we go toward the application of the concepts in the dance floor representation of non-violent communication. One of the deepest moments of all this program, interpersonal and individually.

At the end of the day, at the group reflection session, it became very clear the importance of the vocabulary related to feelings and needs, that help us identify the difference between them and the clarification of what they really represent. It was talking to the importance of our courageous friends that step up and share with us some personal experience on the dance floor. Thanks to all for being so caring and supportive and who quick the relations was established.

Day 4:
We discuss about the three ego states in the Transactional analysis, how to use and recognise those skill, knowledge and method in our daily life. Moreover, we realized theatre plays to explain how they work.
At the end we also learn how to distinguish a comment from a feedback and the way to give it.

 #Day 3

After the evaluation of previous day and few energizers, we started „Media literacy and Criticial Thinking“ session by dividing us in several groups and roles such as mayor, citizens, NGO's, parties from different political spectrum. First we had offline positioning and negotiation with other groups and then we switched to online discussion. After more than vivid debate we engaged in voting about builiding a mosque in Sleepville or not. Voting ended by 13 to 8 votes in favour of building a mosque. We did follow up of whole process and enriched with debate on modern phenomenon such as fake news, GDPR, etc.
The afternoon was reserved for cultural visit in the beautiful city of Linz. We were sightseeing, buying things for remaining days and enjoy ourselves in different context. What a glorious day it was!

#Day 2

Second day was one of the greatest days for us. We started representing our uniqueness through a game of sharing with the group whats was unique about us and slowly get to the point where we found something that make us special.
From there on, we proceeded with picking one need each that we long to see fulfilled and shared our thoughts about this; Also we had to pick 5 values that represent us and share them with one other person.
Thereafter we had the first village experience where we gathered within to sit and be by ourselves for 20 minutes without verbal communication which had been freeing for some and restricting for others; each one experienced a different village.
Afterwards, we talked for a while about leadership and were taught different types of leadership and whether we take different approaches for different situations or see a continuity for ourselves.
Finishing the day, we had the cultural identity night where we could get to know some things about each other’s country, cultural identity and connect to each other on a more casual level.
